Your local contact
Meet your St. John's bookkeeper.
Your books are looked after by Marilyn Faulkner, the bookkeeper for St. John's, based in St. John's / Northeast Avalon.
They become your regular point of contact — someone who learns how your business operates, keeps your books current and is there when questions come up.
You get the relationship of working with one local person, without the risk of depending on one person working completely on their own.
About Marilyn Faulkner
I’ve worked in bookkeeping, payroll and accounting for more than twenty years, and I’m based here in St. John’s.
For nearly a decade I looked after the books for more than a hundred clients at a St. John’s tax and bookkeeping practice — monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, HST remittances, payroll on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycles, T4s, T4As and T5s, records of employment, and WorkplaceNL statements. Before that I handled the books for construction and electrical contractors in Ontario, which is where I learned how much of this work is knowing what a business actually looks like when it’s running properly.
Over the years I’ve worked in Sage 50, QuickBooks, Timberline and a handful of other systems, so an unfamiliar set of books doesn’t take me long to find my way around.
